NOTE… WHILST THIS IS ONE OF THE FEW ACTIVITIES THAT DOES NOT SUIT BEGINNERS, IF YOU HAVE PLAYED A BIT OF POOL BEFORE AND ALWAYS FANCIED YOUR CHANCES IN A COMPETITIVE FORMAT THEN WHY NOT PUT YOUR NAME DOWN FOR AN INTERMEDIATE TOURNAMENT. THE FORMATS MEAN YOU WILL HAVE EVERY CHANCE TO PROGRESS.

BE HONEST OR YOU COULD FACE DISQUALIFICATION. DIVISION 1 LEAGUE PLAYERS WILL BE HANDICAPPED. STRICT RULES APPLY. CHAMPAGNE AND TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED TO TOP TWO OF EVERY CHAMPIONS EVENT.
BUY INS AND MEMBERSHIPS CAN BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE BY CARD OR PAYPAL VIA THE CLUB'S WEBSITE OR IN CASH TO THE CLUB HOST ON THE NIGHT . A CLUB HOST WILL BE ON HAND AT THE VENUE FROM 5PM ON THE DAY OF EVERY EVENT TO HELP BOOK YOU IN. ALL PRIZES WILL BE PAID OUT IN CASH AT THE END OF THE NIGHT. ALL MATCHES PLAYED ON ENGLISH 8 BALL TABLES.

FORMATS
Singles
- Names go into a hat for which table you open on. At the start 25 players play over 5 tables in killer competitions
- Each player has 8 lives. Get a ball down, thats all you have to do. Miss and you lose a life. Drop the white in and you lose 2 lives. Drop the black in and you lose 2 lives. Pot 2 balls at once and you get an extra life..."simples".
- Last 8 standing go through to quarter finals. 8 names go into a hat who then play the best of 5 frames of straight pool.
- Those who are knocked out in the first round will have a free table to play on (2 after the quarter finals) for informal killer or english 8 ball matches).
- Losing 4 quarter finalists play in "8 lives each" killer competition for 5th and 6th place prizes.
- Semi-finalists play best of 5 frames of english 8 ball pool.
- Finalists and losing semi-finalists play best of 7 frames of english 8 ball pool for top 4 prizes.
Doubles
- 16 teams go into hat, 4 teams being selected in 4 groups. Round robin, each team plays 6 games of straight pool 2 games against each group team.
- Top 2 teams from each group go through to quarter finals. quarter finalists play best of 3 english 8 ball pool games.
- Semi finalists and finalists play best of 5 frames of english 8 ball pool for top 4 prizes.
